Marion County Schools Transition Fair Registration 2025

The Disability Action Center and Marion County Schools will be hosting the Transition Fair 2025 for Marion County Juniors and Seniors in the Special Education Department. We will also be inviting adults and family members who are interested in services available in higher education, employment, and supports after high school. The fair will be held at the Disability Action Center, 448 Leonard Ave., Fairmont, WV 26554 on March 7, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 pm. Each year over 60 students of all ability levels participate in the fair to better prepare for life after high school. In addition, many teachers, aides, parents, and administrators will be on hand to gather resources and information about your program offerings. Students will be divided in to groups so there is ample time to meet with providers and agencies in attendance. Students in attendance will be representing Fairmont Senior High School, East Fairmont High School, North Marion High School, and the Barnes Alternative Learning Center. The fair will be held in the lower level of the Disability Action Center. Parking attendants will be on hand to assist with parking, logistics, and set up.
